 The heart of our story feels like the moment when you first see the luminous soul in another human being. Or, to get even closer, when you begin to become aware of the luminous soul within yourself. The gratitude deepens when you realize that others see it in you, too. Eventually, as you begin to live your light, you bless others with it and encourage others to live their own light within. The story of our friendship and business partnership began and continues with this recognition of light – within ourselves, in one another and in the ever-expanding circle of customers and friends for whom our products are created.
We met at a women’s retreat in Charleston, South Carolina. It’s no coincidence, we’re sure, that we ended up on the same plane back to Chicago. Soon we realized that a new adventure was in the works and that we’d be taking part in this adventure together.
The path from that beginning to the present has regularly been lit with enthusiasm and confidence as we've applied past expertise to our company, Luminous Soul. As our business continues to grow, we continue to grow. In particular it’s become clear that we both aim to devote our joined skills and wisdom to honor and celebrate the inner light, the luminous soul within everyone.
 Both of us are mothers and spiritual seekers, each in our own way. We know the world we live in now and the world our children are learning is more and more complex and, in many ways, challenging. The need for luminous souls – that is, souls who are awake to their conscious creative, wise, passionate, generous true selves – has never been greater. This conviction permeates the development of our products, the making of them and the relationships we form through them along the way.
